The small metal miniatures have been known as lead soldiers, the first material in which they were made was tin, although perhaps they could be made with precious metals, such as gold and silver, surely the tests have been many until reaching the present with the models of great perfection that exist in the market. The tin soldiers, children's toys of other times are today authentic sculptural works of art with which we can start in the exciting world of modeling and build our own collection. Nobody really knows the origin of these models, but it is believed that they were the same military who did simulations with them to try to discover what attacks and defenses would look like. Perhaps later these models, once the battlefield was finished, were given to the children of those soldiers so that they could enjoy them. The evolution has gone through several phases, the first were two-dimensional, that is to say, plans, until today in which there are recognized prestigious modelers who sign their figures for the general public, expert craftsmen in search of excellence.
